DJI Phantom 3 Drone Advanced Professional Repair

For DJI Phantom 3 Advanced/Professional drones that require repair after a crash.

If your DJI Phantom 3 Advanced/Professional drone has been in a crash and needs repair, below are some common scenarios and options for repair:

Case #1: If you're receiving a "No Image Transmission" error on the DJI GO App but your camera is intact, there are two possible issues. The worst case scenario is that the circuit board is dead, which can happen even if there is no physical damage to the camera. The best case scenario is that the flex ribbon cable is torn.

Case #2: If your camera is intact but the gimbal is behaving erratically and you have video image on the DJI GO App, it's possible that one or more motors and/or motor circuit boards have been damaged. This can happen even without visible physical damage.

Case #3: If your camera has broken off or the yaw arm is damaged, there are also two possibilities. The worst case scenario is that you need to replace the entire camera. Even after the installation of a new yaw arm and ribbon cable, you may still encounter a "No Image Transmission" error or the gimbal may behave erratically, resulting in damage to some or all of the motors and circuit boards. The best case scenario is that when we replace the Yaw Arm and the ribbon flex cable, everything works fine.
