DJI Phantom 4 Repair
Below are some common scenarios for a Phantom 4 that has crashed and estimated costs for repair including parts and labor. In this article, we try to explain common repair issues and equivalent costs, but until we get our hands on the drone, we would not fully know what the actual damages are. But if you tell us an overview of what happened, we would be able to give you an instant repair cost.
Case #1: Camera broke off the drone
Worst case would be a brand new camera for $379 + $25 labor = $404.
Best case if we replace the (1) Yaw Arm, (2) Top Motor and (3) Ribbon Cable and everything turns out fine, cost of parts and labor would only be $250 - this is the maximum amount for a camera repair, because for an additional $129, you could already buy a brand new camera.
Case #2: Ribbon Flex Cable Torn
Symptoms would be "No Image Transmission" error on DJI GO App and/or gimbal doesn't move at all. It would only be $40 + $60 labor = $100 total. This is a common issue and perhaps the cheapest repair for a crashed Phantom 4.
